As a Bartender, you know what it takes to create a fun and welcoming environment at the bar, serving food in the bar area and preparing flavorful and satisfying beverages for all guests.
Ensure prompt and courteous service of food and beverages to guests.
Essential Functions
Demonstrate strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and method of preparation.
Demonstrate knowledge of standard menu items, food preparation and ingredients.
Market, sell, and serve all menu items.
Receive and serve food and beverage orders, while providing excellent customer service.
Comply with all safety and sanitation ordinances.
Comply with all state liquor laws and regulations.
Complete side work which includes stocking, filling salt & pepper shakers, folding napkins, wiping down counters and tables, etc.
Stock areas with clean linen, glassware, and silverware.
Respond to the needs and requests of the guests. Keep work areas clean and organized.
Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross-training.
Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
Treating others with respect and behaving in a manner that is positive, productive and encourages teamwork at all times is an essential function of this job.
Physical Description
Lift and carry food trays, beverage containers, glass racks, etc. average weight of 5-75lbs frequently, maximum weight frequently 100lbs.
Standing/walking up to two miles per day on cement, tile, asphalt, and carpet.
Reaching/overhead extension to pull items down.
Pushing and pulling handcarts weight frequently 5-75lbs, maximum weight 100lbs.
Repetitive motions of bending, kneeling, stooping, and twisting.

Requirements
Working with and exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, dust, and noise.
Working with and around all types of kitchen equipment (e.g., oven, slicer, steamer, stock pots, fryer, stove tops, heat lamp, toaster).

Minimum Qualifications
Food Handlers and OLCC permit.
Read, write, and speak English fluently.
Cash handling experience.
Must pass criminal background check.
